AKA: MiniMaise, Maisie Moo, Maizilla, MiniMoo, Amazing Maisie

Where do I begin with this little girl.  Maisie is this tiny little 15lb, 12inch little girl.  If she was any other dog I would call her a pocket pupper.  Maisie had some early trouble with her legs before she came here, and apparently her little broken legs were never set properly.  Maisies left front leg is all bowed and faces inward.  When she tries to run she wobbles all over the place.  She also had an extremely elevated fat level and needed to be put on a low fat diet.  When Maisie first got here she had me wrapped around her tiny little paw.  Maisie needed a special water bowl that was small and not so deep.  She has a lot of problems drinking from a big bowl.  Maisie will sit and howl at the water bowl if it is not full, and it must have cold filtered water...or she will NOT drink it.  Problem is all the other dogs want the water in the little bowl.  They have a large metal bowl that is filled with cold filtered water..but that is not good enough. When you approach the fridge where the water is Maisie must walk with you to the fridge, and then run to the water bowl so no one else gets to it first.

Maisie is our worst begger.  She is so tiny and adorable she lives by the motto "I am tiny and cute, and that overrides anything else"  She jumps up with them tiny legs and cute face and it is hard not to cave.  Maisie loves to chase the puppers balls and a few of the stuffed chew toys.  She does have a problem "retrieving" them because they are bigger then her.  Kind of hysterical watching her drag the squeeky squirrel toy around.

Maisie is our resident mama.  She must check Shanjen and Foxman when they are either outside for a long time, or after they have surgery...she wants to play protector with them.  We adore little Moo
