    Scarlett was a baby that came to me after we lost Fancee and Angel.  Scarlett was a very sheltered pupper who was terrified of everything.  The lady who brought her here was with a rescue and was fostering Scarlett.  She had Scarlett on a leash and would not let her interact with any of my dogs.  The foster mom sat as far away from me as can be and held onto Scarlett saying that Scarlett was shy around strangers.  Well Scarlett needed a lot of socialization.

    After Scarlett was here for a few days, it seemed my other dogs all wanted to pay a lot of attention to her, so poor Scar was a mess/  My son thought it would be better if Scarlett moved in with him since he only had Yoda, so Scar moved in  with him  She instantly fell in love with Yoda.  They played together a lot with no problems.

    The first time we took Scarlett to the vet she looked so fore lone.  She had (and still doesn't), no emotions exce[t at pupper feeding time.  My vet came to the same conclusion as I did...Scarlett has no emotions.  Occassionaly she wags her tail...but she looks like someone just died.  No real excitement or actions when her favorite people are around.  She always looks like she was just beaten

    About 2 years ago, poor Scar had a horrible bladder infection and a huge kidney stone.  The stone was removed an d she is doing so much better noe.  Scarlett moved back in with me and my other shelties, after my son moved back in.  Scarlett seems pretty happy now.  She plays with my Phoebe and Foxman a lot, and lets Phoebe know when she is being too rough. We love Scarbaby
